Adjusting Transmission Shift Points on Your GMC Truck Using Factory Settings

Accessing the Service Shift Points Mode:

1. Turn your key to the Run position without starting the engine.

3. Turn the key to the Off position.

4. Press and hold the brake pedal.

5. While holding the brake pedal, turn the key back to the Run position. You can now release the brake pedal.

6. If you followed the steps correctly, you should see Service Shift Points displayed on your instrument panel.

Adjusting the Shift Points:

• Repeat this process for each gear as needed.
